1. How to Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your WestMotors account and all associated data, you can do so by following the steps below.

Steps to Request Account Deletion:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  2. Include your username in the email body so we can identify your account
  3. Confirm your request - we will send a confirmation email to verify your identity
  4. Account deleted - your account and data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days

2. What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

Account Information Username and encrypted password Deleted
Favorites All saved favorite lots Deleted
Bid History History of bids placed through the app Deleted
App Preferences Notification settings, filters, UI preferences Deleted
Push Notification Tokens FCM tokens for push notifications Deleted
Anonymous Analytics Aggregated usage statistics (non-identifiable) Retained*

* Anonymous analytics data that cannot be linked to your identity may be retained for service improvement purposes.

3. Data Retention Period

Processing Time: Account deletion requests are processed within 7 business days.

Backup Retention: Your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which it will be permanently purged.
